Vernon Downs Subdivision - A Desirable Ann Arbor Neighborhood

Vernon Downs is a mature Ann Arbor neighborhood with 411 homes located west of Pioneer High School, on the north side of Scio Church. The large majority of the homes are ranches, with a scattering of 2 story and tri-level homes, ranging in size from 1,000–2,000 square feet. Built by Airey in the mid 1950’s through the early 1960’s, these brick ranches are well constructed and feature hardwood floors, fireplaces, and many have detached garages. Dicken Elementary is located within the neighborhood, and within walking distance is Slausen Middle school and Pioneer High School is just to the east of the neighborhood.

The location of Vernon Downs is excellent, being close to shopping, the mall, and downtown Ann Arbor. You are also located close to I-94 which takes you directly to Metro Airport, and you can walk to the University of Michigan's Big House on Football Saturdays.
